Easy Care Instructions
Handcrafted Copper Sinks are easy to care for and should be cleaned with a soft cloth, mild detergent and water. Rinse and dry the surface after cleaning. Avoid acids such as vinegar, lemon juice or cleaners containing acids. Acidic substances will temporarily lighten the finish or give it a "pinkish" look. Do not clean with abrasives or abrasive cleaners such as dry cleansers. Our sinks have a heat treated stain to give the sink an Old World aged patina. This finish will darken and lighten in different areas as it is a natural living finish. This change can be slowed by periodic re-applications of a furniture wax, such as beeswax or Trewax.
